Routine Calibration & Service visits with a combination of both a Tachograph Rolling Road or Roller Brake Tester with both Tachograph & MOT Test Equipment, the site being both an ATC and ATF. All equipment covered must be listed on Appendix C.

This agreement is for 12 months duration and must be paid for annually in advance or paid in 12 monthly instalments on direct debit at £110.00 per month.

The annual advance cost of the Gold Calibration & Service Agreement is £1,500.00 – this covers the next two calibration visits.

Requests to repair defects to test equipment will be dealt with as follows:

  1. The company will respond to all calls for repairs within 48 hours of the engineer being first notified (excluding Weekends & Bank Holidays) without charges for call-out, travel time or labour.
  2. All parts will be charged for in the normal way. Warranty claims will be raised by the repairing engineer to cancel any charges where appropriate.
  3. All Rolling Roads and Roller Brake Testers under warranty will be treated as being on a Gold agreement for the first year, including the VDO Hybrid system but not the Hartridge chassis, unless of course it was replaced at the same time.
  4. The company reserve the right to despatch material overnight as an alternative to attendance on site if the company deem that the ATF/ATC centre are capable of installing the defective part.

Gold Calibration & Service Agreement includes a visual inspection of the equipment and lubrication of the VDO Rolling Road bearings where appropriate and greasing, lubrication and adjustment of the Roller Brake Tester Chains. Changing of any consumable parts on any of the test equipment will only take place if authorised by an additional order number for labour and material, if appropriate.

A report will be made upon the condition of the equipment and any rectification or maintenance requirements reported on. Only free of charge legal or technical updates will be carried out. Updates that may be chargeable will only be carried out if an order number is provided, if appropriate, prior to the visit being booked.
